Our Story
NoorDNS was born from a simple realization: as Muslim parents raising children in the digital age, we needed more than just a content blocker. We needed a tool that aligned with our values—one that would help us protect and teachat the same time.
When our children encounter blocked content, they often feel confused or frustrated. Traditional blockers offer cold error messages that do nothing to explain why certain content is harmful from an Islamic perspective. We saw an opportunity to transform these moments into beautiful reminders of our faith.
The name "Noor" (نور) means light in Arabic—and that's exactly what we hope to bring to your family's digital experience. Instead of darkness and restriction, we offer guidance and illumination.
